PSALM 26:2-3
Test me, Lord, and try me,
examine my heart and my mind;
for I have always been mindful of your unfailing love
and have lived in reliance on your faithfulness.
Loved ones, This prayer takes some guts, and more importantly faith! When we fall in love with Jesus, and our love for Him grows stronger, many of us will desire to know more about the heart of God. We may even want to experience the Love of God in more powerful ways. We naturally will desire to serve Him and to know His will for us! In my opinion these verses are prayed by those who have very strong confidence in their personal relationship with Jesus, yet they want to be pruned by God so that they can go even deeper in that relationship, and be properly prepared for service. This can be a painful process, but we can trust that God will only allow us to experience what we can handle. Also, during this period we can trust that our thirst for more of Jesus will grow stronger and stronger.
To rely on the faithfulness of Jesus, not always easy, but so rewarding!

Pray this prayer; Dear Jesus, I am a sinner and I need a Savior.
Please forgive me of my sins. Jesus I am ready to place my trust in you. I believe you are the Son of God,
that you came down from heaven and gave up your life for all sin
and rose from the dead. Jesus, I need you in my life,
I am inviting you into my life today. Thank you, Amen.
Praise the Lord for my new brothers and sisters in Christ!
